I love Fall!
Camping in Tony Grove, pretty chilly, but such beautiful colors.

Flannel, beard, and started the fire with flint and steel. So good at being a man.

I love our tent so much. I always take a picture of it wherever we camp. One day I'll make a book of all these pictures and I will probably be the only who ever looks at it.

Carved some pumpkins. Owl and pumpk-bot.

All our pictures these days are taken with a timer. A pretty weird picture, but at least you can see how tiny our kitchen is.

Last night we made delicious caramel apples, with white chocolate and cinnamon sugar. Been eating pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pancakes and loving life. Now it's snowing. See ya next year fall, I'll miss you.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Nate and I have already been married a year! It went so fast, but at the same time it also feels like we've been married forever. It's been such a fun and crazy year. We celebrated in Jackson, at a nice little suite in Jackson Lodge. It was a great getaway. Here we are celebrating our love! Cheers to many more years!

The Tetons will never stop taking my breath away. So amazing.

Now since I love listing things so much, I'm going to list some of the best memories about the first year of marriage:

-Nate has scared me so many times in this one year. One night I got out of bed to go to the bathroom, I came back into the bedroom (keep in mind it is completely dark) Nate came out of the closet and grabbed me. That's right he got out of bed and hid in the closet til I came back. Most terrifying/hilarious time. It took me a good 20 minutes to get my heart rate down to where I could fall asleep again. He is the best scare-er ever.
-Reading at the pool
-Pillow talk. For some reason we (I) get so hyper when we are going to bed. We are like a teenage girl sleepover most nights. Pillow fights, ridiculous conversations and giggling until way too late.
-Bike rides around town
-Setting up the BB gun shooting range in our living room.
-Rugby games
-Teaching Nate to play tennis.
-Nate takes such good care of me. I get sick way too much, and every time he is way too good to me. It is the best.
-When we are getting ready for bed, brushing our teeth, Nate does something so mean and so funny. He drinks a glass of water before going to bed, he'll fill it up and then as I bend down to spit he balances the full glass of water on my back. I am completely trapped. If I move, the water spills everywhere. Somehow I am still falling into that trap every time he does. It makes me laugh so hard every time.
-Nate's favorite new line, "My wife will clean that up" even when I'm the one who made the mess.
-Realizing all the annoying things I say and do all the time. Our most recent conversation about this:
Nate: You say "huh?" all the time and most the time you know what I say
Hayley: Huh?  Oh, yeah that is pretty true.
Nate: Point proven.
No joke that was a real conversation.
-I have learned so much about myself and so much about Nate. He is even better than I originally thought and I am so happy he is mine.
